Author Ron Kelly’s brand of “Southern-fried horror” portrays the
darker side of Dixie… Since coming on the scene in the 1980s in such legendary publications such as Terror Time
Again, Cemetery Dance, Deathrealm, Grue, Noctulpa, & New Blood, his work has
chilled horror fans thanks to Zebra Books’ publications of several of Ron’s
novels, including: Hindsight, Pitfall, Something Out There, Moon of the
Werewolf, Father’s Little Helper, The Possession, Fear, and Blood Kin.
Kelly's audio story collection, Dark Dixie,
was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best non-musical recording and his
work has appeared in major anthologies such as Cold
Blood, Shock Rock, Hot Blood, Borderlands, The Earth Strikes Back, and Dark At
Heart.
In 2008 Croatoan Publications released Undertaker's Moon and
Flesh-Welder and Cemetery Dance Publications released his new novel,
"Hell
Hollow" as well as the short story collection, "Midnight Grinding & Other
Twilight Terrors. "
Ron currently lives in Brush Creek,
Tennessee with his wife, Joyce, and his two daughters, Reilly and Makenna
(Chigger).
